Level-hit alerts
When the target or stop from one of your analyses is touched, ChartLens sends one notification that opens straight to that analysis. Levels are checked hourly against 15-minute exchange candles, and losses notify exactly the same way wins do.
The feedback loop most traders never close
You analyse a chart, you form a view, and then life happens. A week later you have a vague sense it "kind of worked". That vague sense is what people build their confidence on, and it is systematically wrong — memory keeps the wins and edits the losses.
An alert the moment a level is actually touched closes that loop while the idea is still fresh. It is also what makes the track record real to you rather than an abstract number on a dashboard.
Three types, all optional
- Level hit. A target, stop or invalidation was touched. Deep-links to the analysis. On by default.
- Daily report. One message: your open analyses and yesterday’s outcomes, at an hour you choose. Off by default.
- Weekly free credit. A nudge when your free weekly analysis arrives. Free users only, capped.
Never more than one non-alert notification a day. The daily report is also suppressed entirely when you have nothing open and nothing resolved — an empty summary is the fastest way to get an app’s notifications turned off for good.
We ask before iOS does
Permission is requested at the end of onboarding, after a screen explaining what the alerts are for — never on first launch. A cold permission prompt gets denied, and on iOS that denial is effectively permanent.

What triggers a level-hit alert?
The scoring job runs hourly against 15-minute exchange candles. When the target or the stop from one of your analyses is touched, you get one notification that deep-links straight to that analysis.
How many notifications will I get?
One per analysis when it resolves, and at most one summary a day if you turn the daily report on. Each analysis notifies once — there is no follow-up, no streak nagging and no re-engagement drip.
Can I turn them off individually?
Yes. Level hits, the daily report and the weekly free-credit nudge are three separate switches in Settings, and the daily report is off by default until you turn it on.
Do I get an alert when a trade goes against me?
Yes — stops and invalidations notify exactly like targets do. An app that only tells you about the wins is training you to misremember your own record.
